Drippy Mushes
My "Drippy Mushes" painting was actually a commission I did for my good friends at The Mushroom Classroom in Denver. The painting is loosely based on the "penis envy" mushroom. I had a laugh when I saw that there's actually a mushroom called penis envy and my buddy Chris at Mushroom Classroom liked my paintings with drips incorporated so I had to add that detail. The white clouds that the mushrooms are growing out of is actually mycelium and the yellow parts is corn which is a substrate many people use to grow mushrooms. It was my first time painting mushrooms which was super fun and I will def have to do more in the future, mush love. 🍄
