MF DOOM!
As a lifelong Hip-Hop fan I had to pay my respects to the late Great MF DOOM. Doom first began his career in 1988 with the group KMD who recorded 2 studio albums. The group broke up in 1993 and it wasn't until the late 90's that "Daniel Dumile" would take on the alias MF Doom and eventually gain recognition as one of the greatest rappers to ever grace a mike. His word-play and outside the box rhyme schemes and punch lines were unmatched and went against mainstream norms since his drive wasn't to hit the top charts or make the number one club banger, for him it was about the art of the rhyme over raw beats which is also why he was only ever seen wearing the doctor doom mask. Hip-Hop had started to become about fashion, jewelry, nice cars and mansions and him wearing the mask would force his fans to not focus on the glitz & glam and only follow the story being told by the MC. He has an immense catalog of music and endless collaborations and projects he recorded over the years and will forever be known as a pioneer in Hip-Hop and one of the greatest to ever have done it. RIP DOOM!
