Original Parking Ticket

I painted this while I was living in downtown Denver and couldn't break the habit of collecting parking tickets. I noticed I was starting to get a stack of them on the counter so I made the decision to turn a negative into a positive and used those tickets as the background in this painting.

Painting specifications

20" x 16" - Landscape (wider than it is tall)

This original is 0.75 inches deep, 100% cotton canvas stretched on a solid wood frame and stapled to the back, gesso primed, real parking tickets plastered to canvas, water-based acrylics, and gloss finish to bring out the colors and to protect the painting.
