Original Yellaphant

The original of this elephant was the first elephant I ever painted. Getting the textures, bumps, and cracks of the elephant's rough skin perfected was quite the challenge. It took some time, but it paid off in the end. I hope you enjoy gawking at this original as much as I do.

Painting specifications

24" x 36" - Portrait (taller than it is wide)

100% cotton canvas hand-stretched on a solid wood frame and stapled to the back, .75 inch deep, gesso primed, water-based acrylics, and high gloss finish to bring out the color and to protect the painting.
